I tried!
My 8yo lad wanted to try some retro gaming so Fuse was started and I tried Sabotuer 2. We both got nowhere.
We tried ZX Robots and he didn't like the diagonal controls.
I loaded Jetpac and managed a few screens but he couldn't grasp qazx
*sighs*
Anything more simple to give him an easy time?![Confused :?](./images/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif)

Thanks a lot. I have not even expected Wayback Machine to keep .zip files! Seems like the past archived internet is getting more useful internet than the "current internet"! You're not far wrong: https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/technology/the-internet-is-not-forever-38-of-web-pages-from-20...

In addition to the higher price, there is no shortage, but if you don't want to mod the case, you have to wait. The eLeMeNt board for the ZX128(+) case is in preparation and depends on the progress of works here: https://retroradionics.com/Toastrack-case-ZX-48K-case-with-profesional-kailh-linear-an...

Re: Is Retro Computing Escapism?
I've found a pair on Ebay, but even if I had a spare £200 I'd need to cut my toes off as they're four sizes too small for me. There's a site punting them out for $44 in any size but I suspect they're knock-off Nigels. You mean "made by the same people but without the ridiculous mark-up" :...

Re: Is Retro Computing Escapism?
Escapism? I have loads of hobbies and my Sinclair stuff is only a tiny part. Damn, I've got nearly 3000 hours clocked up in Fortnite alone, then there's the 5 bikes, 3 cars, 3D printing, shooting, my little renewables plot... This isn't "escapism" it's my real life - you know, the only one...

Re: Music using both AY and beeper together
I do find it interesting that some people utterly renounce their hobby, especially when it's been a huge part of their life, as if it was a dirty secret like dealing drugs or something. Happens loads when people sell off their entire collections only to realise their folly later. It's fully possibl...

5 second delay loading pages
It doesn't matter if I'm using wifi or data, it takes at least 5 seconds for pages to load. No other websites are doing this.

Be careful - image flipping won'r protect you!
Jeff Dieschburg, an artist in Luxembourg who took work by others, made trivial edits, and won awards with paintings of the results. Sued there by U.S. photographer Jingna Zhang, he won an early verdict in his favour, but has now lost on appeal. The court found that Dieschburg's painting "Turand...
