Football manager games are usually slow but this takes the piss. After selecting your team they are drawn into groups and is a process that takes forever! Thank goodness for speed up on emulators. And then my team Rangers (for no reason, I'm a Southampton fan) came up last, surely that's not always the case is it? First match vs Napoli walloped 4-0, the match screen being nothing but a timer and the stadium from the loading screen, but when there's a goal the crowd get animated and the border goes crazy, well it's different at least. Then the other results appear on screen and this takes forever as well. From the other menus, training either results in no change or their fitness suffers and the transfer market works like an auction. But annoying to enter a player or a bid the game insist to begin with 0, so for number 4 I have to type 04, to make a £600,000 I have to type 0600000, which is just stupid. I think I'm preferring British Super League, the last manager I reviewed before this one, as that had far less waiting compared to this. Nice idea giving this is group based European soccer before the Champions League, but it's just too slow. Oh and I lost 2-0 to Malmo and 4-0 again, this time to Tottenham. Three defeats and no goals, says it all.
