Reviews for European 5-a-Side (#1664)

This isn't a great soccer game at all (surprise!) but for the budget cheepie price I suppose we weren't to expect much in the first place. It's too slow and the player movement is very awkward, sometimes they would sit on one spot and jitter like he's having a seizure of sorts. Not terrible but far away from being good.

As a budget simulator of 5-a-side soccer this is not bad; the movement of players and ball is smooth although not really fast and graphics are clear enough to let you instantly know who's who.

The real problem is that there are no other modes than against the computer and another human player; the lasting appeal of the game would have benefited from different levels of computer skill or a tournament mode.

Utter crap.
Bad graphics, annoying sound, and about the game speed, are the players high or what? The less said the better.

By all means it's not a terrible football game, but it's definitely one of the easiest. You can simply run to the goal with the ball close to the net and press fire for an easy goal. I was able to win 9-0 as a result of this method. The player movement in the computer team is quite bizarre with the way they stick and don't seem to know which way they wish to go. You can also change the colour of the pitch but you are better off sticking to the default, the blue screen in particular is bad and looked corrupted even though it isn't. Not overly atrocious, it's no worse than World Cup Football and World Cup Carnival for instance, but most likely you'll play one match and then you're done.

5 a side soccer game in which you can't even enter the goal post with the ball (I tried repeatedly because I couldn't score kicking it).
