This game is a pretty decent challenge in which you must use strategy to climb onto the mont Everest ... think wisely before spend any peny , for your chance may not come again !!!

Ps - I don´t need to play a game to the full to realize its virtues , Boom Boom , and this is the case with Everest Ascent . I rate it so high because of the contrast it makes with the other two shitty games by the same author . This is , by far , the best of them !

Ps - You shouldn´t take my reviews so seriously , man !! I´m just a simple user who loves the Spectrum and everything related to it , including shitty games and shallow reviews ...

1983 Richard Shepherd Software Ltd (UK)

Another game included in the pack offered with my Spectrum, at the time my parents bought it.
It's a simple strategy game, were you must climb mount Everest after hiring a few sherpas and purchase equipment. The number of sherpas and equipment will make an impact on the climb and it's duration. After that a menu of options appears: climb, descend, spend the night, etc. Options are very limited and the result predictable. Overall this was interesting back in 1982/83 but very limited. Soon became very outdated and nowadays is just an historical curiosity. But hey, maybe you'll like it.

This honestly did nothing for me. You never seem to have the right selection of supplies to go far and it's as if you are just destined to fail. I was mildly interested in this because of its concept but that interest quickly sapped away.
