Reviews for Les Flics (#2860)

Apparently inspired by the Pink Panther, right down to its theme song in the beginning of the game. It appears you must go around the level to enter buildings and collect items, which becomes painfully old within a minute of playing this game. The idea is pleasant enough but the execution is terrible, and the lack of instructions don't help in the slightest. If the gameplay doesn't drive you mad the text on the cassette inlay will.

1984 PSS (UK)

I'm not really sure what to think about this game. Judging by the screen loader, the name, the Mancini theme tune and the obvious sprite depicting the Pink Panther you can guess this is based upon the Inspector Closeau and Pink Panther cartoons. Graphically looks outdated even for 1984, but there are so few games with this characters, which by the way I love, that it's forgiving. Anyway, The gameplay, which I'm not sure what it is or what to do, seems a bit complex, several actions have to be performed in order to do others, but instructions are so scarce that I ended up just wandering around. The Pink Panther deserved a better more polished game. It feels more like an idea to be implemented than an actual game.
