Reviews for 3 Deep Space (#35)

Apparently this is required to be played with 3-D glasses and you have to shoot "enemies" that match the colours and in some cases the distance apart from each other, otherwise your laser goes straight through them. I don't quite know what this is trying to be, but it's barely trying to be a game for one. It's confusing, complicated and most of all, it's rubbish.

Another early effort from The Lords of Midnight creator.
It was intended to be played with red and blue specs for "real" 3D effect, which increased the price of a by itself very average shoot 'em up.

You have two ways of destroying enemy ships, the yellow ones just require aim and fire, the red and green ones require that you a match both their distance with yours using the Q,W keys. It's an interesting feature, and very workable, made specially for the 3D fx, but you don't even need the specs for it.
In the end the game becames boring and repetitive, and nowadays I just see it more as a curiosity.

Q-left
W-right
