Reviews for Quackers (#3964)

Fairly standard carnival shoot game.

This consists of two alternating stages. The first is the typical moving lanes of targets with a row of harder to hit targets behind moving walls. The second stage is a bonus stage where you just hit the single target as many times as possible as it tries to escape across the screen.

It's not a bad game just a bit boring. The graphics, while nothing special are servicable and cute enough and the scrolling of the lanes is smooth. The only thing that makes it difficult is the time limit which (depending on your view of these things) either makes it a frustrating game or a challenging one!

Either way, it's competent enough but doesn't have enough variety to maintain interest: Once you've figured it out it's more a case of playing until your attention wanders enough to cause more errors than the time allows for.

A pretty nice Carnival clone, plays quite well and it's pretty smooth and enjoyable. It does get tedious pretty fast but it's still an enjoyable game nonetheless.

This game will test your aiming skills to the full .

Not bad for its day but for today´s standards it looks dated and uncomplicated .

A little bit below average ...

2,5 out of 5 .

Not a bad 'Carnival' version. It plays reasonably well. The bad collision checking this time functions in the players advantage which is a nice thing due to the hardness of the game. That same difficulty makes the game compelling and addictive, but at the end you will fell you are playing the same levels over and over, even if there are tweaks and tricks to discover. The addition of the turtle screen is a nice touch and I can't remember seeing it in the arcade coin-op, so there's a touch of originality in it also.
