Well, this is actually level 3 of Treasure Island repacked and renamed, with a few differences, some welcome, some not.
The idea is obviously inspired by Sabre Wulf but completely shadowed by it. Unfortuantely although the key response is quite good, nothing else is really worthy of praise. The main challenge is to get thru the Samurais using wisely the swords found scattered around the maze area, rescue the Princess and get back to a getaway boat. Other than that there is little to be found in the game.

Nice and colorful Sabre Wulf variation with smooth movility and pretty cool decoration . . . not bad at all ! ! !

2,5 / 5 .

Sadly this isn't just level 3 of Treasure Island repackaged with nicer graphics, although most of them are designed with wide pixels.

It's worse than that, as level 2 of Treasure Island pops up every time you want to cross a bridge. That means you have to do those annoying jumps multiple times, and you lose any sword you are carrying when crossing a bridge.

Shame really, as the graphics and coding aren't bad at all.

I thought Willow Pattern was a fun little game with some nice colourful graphics. I don't understand people calling it a Sabre Wulf variant. Graphics aside, it's nothing like Sabre Wulf.
